In 2019, Make It Cheaper became Bionic. You’ll probably have never heard of Make It Cheaper before, as it was an awful, forgettable name that got the majority of its customers from white label partnerships. But Make it Cheaper is actually a great fast-growth company with a genuinely amazing culture. In a decade it grew to become the largest energy broker for SMEs. So it needed a name and a brand that made it justice.
The Bionic brand we’ve developed aims to offer a clearly different choice in the SMEs “TPI” comparison market, with distinctive rational benefit, but also a more emotive promise that people can identify with.
